"Every atom in your body came from a star that exploded. And the atoms in your left hand probably came from a different star than your right hand. It really is the most poetic thing I know about physics. You are all stardust.

You couldn't be here if stars hadn't exploded.
Because the elements, the carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, iron, all the things that matter for evolution weren't created at the beginning of time.

They were created in the nuclear furnaces of stars. And the only way they could get into your body is if the stars were kind enough to explode. So forget Jesus. The stars died so you could be here today." --Lawrence M. Krauss

Arctic Methane, both in the Siberian end in Russia, and in the Arctic end in Europe, several hundred times as lethal as carbon dioxide in accelerating the climate changes taking place, is bubbling up in large visible streams now in both areas.

How appropriate that the great mother is exterminating the whole infestation of these bed-bug like humans (from our point of view, our civilization and most of our main cities, can not survive) with one enormous fart, of the kind known in girls' schools as silent suffocators, (different from burly bench busters, and mere cabbages).

Rarely available newsflash:

Death sentence passed on human civilization by streams of methane bubbles rising copiously off Siberian peninsula and European Arctic.

Arctic Methane, both in the Siberian end in Russia, and in the Arctic end in Europe, several hundred times as lethal as carbon dioxide in accelerating the climate changes taking place, is bubbling up copiously in large visible streams now in both areas, and it’s a self reinforcing closed cycle; the more methane is released, the warmer the water, and the warmer the water, the more methane is released from the permafrost where it has lain for thousands of years.

Very few years to go before methane, hundreds of times more lethal than carbon dioxide in global warming, brings the earth to a fiery inferno we can not survive, even after all the forests are burnt off.

Small groups, perhaps living at edge of volcanic mountain lake and not yet discovered may survive, but you don't build Chartres cathedral out of those materials.

How appropriate that mother earth is exterminating the whole infestation of these bed-bug like humans (from our point of view, our civilization and our main cities can not survive) with one enormous fart, (wind breaking for those addicted to polite discourse) of the kind known in expensive girls' schools as silent suffocators, different from burly bench busters, and mere cabbages.
